We've noticed over the past week or so a fowel sewage smell coming from our downstairs toilet. We haven't inspected much as have no idea what we're looking for but it seems to get worse when the upstairs toilet is flushed. The downstairs toilet has been out of action since we moved in last March. There was a problem with the drains which we fixed and then it wouldn't work and haven't been able to sort anything what with covid. There's no water in the cystern and very little on the bowl. The sink hadn't had use however there is a shower in there that we use. We have a small baby and worried about the smell carrying on or getting stronger. Any advise would be much appreciated.
