Hot water output through mixer tap.

Posted by Frank Grinnell, on
I am refurbing kitchen. Bought a new mixer tap with integrated flexible hose head (tails to supply and brass tubing connection to hose). All running from condensing boiler (1 year old). When connected, very poor output through hot side. Disconnected and flushed through. Still poor. Connected cold water to hot side tail - output good. Hot supply side unconnected (using 300mm flexible hose) seems good for pressure but when reconnected through tap - output pressure very poor. Is this just the ID of the brass connector tubing supplied with the gap causing the problem and is this "fixable". Just retired. Tap cost best part of £100 and don't want to just discard unless no practical option. Any help / suggestion greatly appreciated.
