Can I still sue

I had a shower installed by Douglas baker heating and plumbing. It flooded and he promised to come and fix it, didn't show up and then I could not get hold of him. Cost me £850 to fix it with someone else. It's been a few years now but can I still sue him. Thanks

Kevin The best way to approach this would be to contact trade and standards Have any paperwork to hand or contact details and they should point you in the wright direction . Hope this helps. Pete
