Wooden gate needed

Posted by Laura , on
We are moving into a new property next week and need a wooden gate for the side entrance. The gap is approx 165cm wide so standard gates don't generally fit. It's possible that we may need something bespoke or fitted alongside a small piece of fence. It will need to be attached from a brick wall to the side of the house (also brick). We would like a gate with a rounded top, approx 5ft at the shortest length and 6ft at its tallest.

Hi Laura, It sounds like it's a standard size, although the Gap is 1650mm you'll need to add on the size of the posts which would narrow the size of the gate needed So you're probably looking at about a 1500mm wide gate the posts go in to the brick then the gate on to the post If you wish you can have no posts but personally it may look odd with just a gate and hinge in to brick. But it can be done if you wish but may have to me bespoke. Over all it's a easy job to do Hope that helps
