Disconnection of gas coin meter, fire and cooker.

Posted by MARIE SMEATON, on
I own 5 holiday flats. In one of the flats there is an old gas coin meter, a gas fire and a gas cooker as well as an electric coin meter. I would like the gas meter, fire and cooker taking out, leaving just electric. I phoned my gas supplier and sent them photos of the meter, but they said they could not remove it as it is not their meter, and said I should get a gas service engineer. How much would it cost to disconnect and or remove these appliances, is it a big job?
