Washing machine repair

Posted by Nir L, on
Suddenly Washing machine was stopped working, no noise or vibration before stopped working. Now if I start the machine, I could hear motor noise but drum is not spinning. Google search indicates possibility of belt has been broken. 1) Should I be looking to replace the belt ? Or would there be any other problem? Or would it be better to replace the machine? 2) What would be cost effective option repair or replace ? 3) On repair option - what would be the cost in both options (1) to inspect and fix or (2) only inspect the machine? Any advice please . Thanks
