I have a one bedroom cottage with artex ceilings throughout. I've had them tested and they contain white asbestos. They are in good condition but are very low upstairs and easily disturbed. Is it safe to have this removed by an asbestos removal contractor who says they can apply something to the ceiling and then scrape the artex off? What is the best way of handling this to have it removed or covered? Thank you
