I have had a conservatory added at rear of my semi; planning permission was sought and given several years ago. My neighbour is using my conservatory as if it were his boundary. I insist that the our boundary between our semis is clearly marked by the small brick 'courtesy' screen built-in to our common rear house wall identifies the boundary division between our semi. I'm sure the planning department would not have intended my conservatory wall as the shared boundary. This would also prevent me from making any inspection and repairs to my conservatory wall, and to replace the air brick therein, which I believe has become damaged and possibly allowing rats to breed underneath my conservatory. Please confirm that this is the case, as I do not want to have any disagreement with my neighbour. As he has purchased what was a council house, they choose not to respond to this issue and refer me to lawyers, which could be costly and provoke an unfriendly situation. Thank you, Ray Scott (age 88)
