Hi we have a ceiling beam running horizontally in the kitchen which looks like its come down as the ceiling is protruding from there, the floor also caves in the bedroom above. I believe there was work previously done on these beams when the kitchen/dining wall was taken down and made open plan.
This needs investigating and resolved before we begin to renovate our kitchen.
Who do I contact to fully investigate the issue and confirm what repair work we need done and the cost and duration of the job?
If it's a structural engineer or building surveyor, where do I find one from Glasgow?
