I am looking to do a small conversion in the rear part of my garage, into an office space. I have had confusing and conflicting information with regards to whether or not Building Regulations Approval is essential. I do not want this conversion to cause any problems if ever I were to put the house on the market for sale in the future if I did not get Building Regs Approval. Any advice would be appreciated.
