Which plasterboard method & material . Shower enclosure

I'm fitting a new shower tray & enclosure, I currently have the wall stripped back to the brickwork. Should I batten the walls & fit plasterboard to tile on to , or dot and dab the wall. Should I use green water resistant board or concrete board. I'll be fitting ceramic tiles directly on to the board.
