Patio doors , the glass looks milky/dirty when the sunshines on them.

LAst week had new patio doors fitted. We have noticed when the sun shines on them, they look awful, like they are mily/dirty. Installer came round this morning to look at them, he said that is normal for these new ones....................he would replace them with 'ordinary double glazed windows' but that will cost another £200.00 can you advise?
