Gardening & garden design job in DE22
Castle Construction did some work in my garden (a patio, block paving and some other things), they proved to be extremely reliable and dedicated from start to finish. The quality of their work was very high and nothing was too much trouble for them – they took all of my requests on board and did exactly what I wanted. They also contributed some of their own ideas, which were very helpful. We’re delighted with what they has done for us and will definitely ask them to come back again in the future!

Building job in NG2
This is a PS really.
Still really pleased overall with the work that Scott did, it was good value for money and the resulting utility room and living area look great all painted and carpeted! Yesterday Scott sent Lee to finish off some outstanding work sealing around the windows, which the building inspector picked up post completion of the work. Some of the finish is not perfect though, some of the plastering is a little ropey in a couple of areas and I can see the join where one of the plasterboards was plastered over, the sofa should hide it though when it comes and I am loathe to get it re-plastered as it will make a hell of a mess. You could see it before painting but I thought the paint would hide it - not! I think the important thing is to be satisfied all is great as you go along and before you get to the end. Today though I realised that there is a big chunk out of my downstairs toilet wall which is adjacent to what was the integral garage. The loo had been full of stuff which needed to go back into the new room and the missing chunk was hidden by some boxes which had been moved in the loo, the light bulb had been removed too. I thought the boxes had been moved to enable access to the electrician. Anyway it came to light today when I started emptying the loo! Not sure if the electrician did it or if it is the banging through from the garage wall but it is an eye sore and needs re-plastering. I only moved in two months ago and the wall was fine pre-building works! I guess these things happen and that is fine as long they get put right. Anyway I contacted Scott and he said he would look into it so watch this space!
