Tiling job in ME16

Chris is a thoroughly nice chap. However... he completed a job for me last year or so and I have almost finished the house project so i thought i would finally write the review. The quality of finish was not good. I have had to re do all of the silicone around the sinks, toilets and especially around the shower door. The grouting was rough and i have had to tidy up the gout in all three rooms as well and re do the worst bits. Additionally i finished off the tiling in the downstairs cloak around the sink wastes and the door. i had to fill and skim over some of the pipes and around some of the plaster board. worst of all a horrible plastic trim was used around the bath and shower tray which I am going to remove and will have to adjust the waste, height of the tray and bath and silicone to finish. In addition to all of the making good described above i had to repaint the stairs after the walls were marked and i have to skim and re paint a ceiling after Chris managed crack a few hole in the plaster while working in a bathroom upstairs. A shame as i am fully capable of completing works to a high standard myself but treated myself to getting some work done for me. I doubt I will make that mistake again. In fact if I had not been fairly handy myself I would have had to employ another tradesperson to do all the making good. To be fair - the tiles were very hard to cut and were heavy, and I paid up and got on with making good myself was i think it was the only way to get the finish i wanted.

Chris came to the house and quoted for the job. He was very easy to work with and we employed him to do the job. He has done a great job and would use him again for future plumbing work.
