Our Experience

After serving a 4 year apprenticeship with Sheffield City Council, I went on and worked with them until leaving in 2000 (14 years had passed in no time!)
I then work for a nationwide building maintenance company for 3 years before setting up on a self-employed basis.
Being self-employed really works for me and my family. I can arrange my workload around my family, without an employer refusing leave for instance.
My family are also supportive of me when I have to work long or difficult hours to suit the needs of the customer.
