Our Experience

Haywoods Roofing are highly proficient in all aspects of 
roofing including industrial and domestic. We have long 
standing maintenance contracts with major companies, 
gutter cleaning etc. We are especially proud of our 
standards of flat roofing. We have worked for many 
businesses and Churches throughout the Birmingham area. 
We have over 100 'ratings' and recommendations from 
Rated People. We also feature on 'You Tube' as part of 
the Rated People blogs. We have also been proud members 
of the Federation of Master Builders for the  last 19 
years. No job is too small and every consideration is 
given to our customers new and old.

Steve at Haywoods attended on a Sunday morning to fit in with my work schedule. Steve examined the roof - taking photos for me to inspect. Received a quote and the photos later that evening. I accepted the quote and Steve maintained contact with me via phone and email to arrange a date for roof replacement. He and his team attended on time and completed the job. Very efficient service, the new roof looks great. Will be using them again if I have any other problems with the main roof of the house!!

Really impressed with your service and promptness (infact it makes me want to replicate your professionalism) always on time (or early), takes photos (goes the extra mile) and does the job when he says he will. Also gives guarantees on workmanship and uses best materials available for the job (technatorch) will use again and recommend you do too. Thanks Steve.

Semi-detached leaking tiled roof to be completely replaced.
Tiled roof work in progress.
Roof on completion. All work past and certificated by Birmingham City Council, cement mortar dyed to match colour of new pan tiles.
Public house complete new roof (slates).
Work in progress, very high quality breathable under slating felt (Tyvek).
Slate roof nearing completion.

Failed roof limestone chippings, roof leaking in several places. Felt work stripped to decking, 3 layers of built up felt.
Roof on completion, Haywoods Roofing strongly recommend high quality Technatorch for capping felts. This felt is very high quality although slightly more expensive than normal roofing felts.
Haywoods Roofing have worked on many Churches in the last 12 months. This photo shows the large flat roof at St Mary's Parish Church, Harborne.
St Mary's Parish Church roof work on completion, all coping stones secured etc.
St George's Church, Newtown C of E this beautiful church is yet another victim of metal theft. Haywoods Roofing were engaged to effect urgent temporary repairs to stop internal water damage while waiting for insurance surveyor.
Temporary repairs in progress, my boys worked in heavy torrential rain to get roof water tight.
This is another flat roof for Rated People. Photo shows roof before work commences.
Work in progress. New UPVC fascia boards, flashings returned into brickwork and sealed with strong mix of sand cement mortar and added PVA to improve bonding.
Flat roof on completion guaranteed for 15 years.
Lead bay roof stolen. Metal theft is a growing problem in our society and we have been to numerous domestic properties to effect repairs. Haywoods Roofing replaced with built up felt (Technatorch).
Completed felt work to a very high standard and has no value to would- be metal thieves and this roof covering will last around 20 years. (Haywoods guarantee for 15 years from date of completion).
