Bipin responded quickly to my post and came over the same day to examine the issue (electrics not working in the kitchen also affecting the boiler). The problem may have required up to 2 days work to fix and Bipin moved his existing jobs to get started on our issue straight away, which was much appreciated as we were moving in later that week. Bipin was very friendly and the job was completed in 24 hours so I was very pleased/relieved. No comments on value as I am not sure how much would be the going rate.
