“Darren Munroe was excellent in keeping me informed of what was happening with this job as it was not as straightforward as it seemed to start with. Excellent workmanship a totally good job done.” 2 nd entry as I pressed the poor button instead of excellent.

Images of Our Work

1 of 2 water damaged chimneys that we dropped to the haunch then rebuilt 3 new courses of brick. Inserted two vents and a new cope. All work done to B.S. Standard & aestheticaly pleasing to the eye.
A Traditionally scottish wet dash finish. The chhimney was capped as it was no longer in use and vented to allow trapped moisture that was visable from inside the bedroom to vaporise out of the building. Allowing the walls to dry out.
After:a new tiled roof fitted with soffit and leadswork. The exisitng roof window was replaced with a new centre pivot velux roof light to allow the attic space to become more functional.
Before: the new roof work was undertaken.
Proud of our C.I.O.B. membership.
new granite and concrete screed on a chimney drop in Colinton
New chimney cope and re harl in a pebble dash finish to match existing. This is the same chimney on image 9. A better photo of the workmanship.
Before:2 chimneys. One was removed completley. The other dropped to the haunch and new cope and new pebble dash finish. Adding value to the property should the owner decide to sell.
After:The chimney to the left has been fully removed and the other dropped to the hunch. Then slated over with an exact match of slate that we managed to source.Excuse the poor images. The work had just been done & cement dust needs removed.
chimney number 3. We matched the pebble chip and worked hard on the background colour to match the exuiting building and make the chimnies aesthetically pleasing.
3,5 and 7 Polworth Place. Roof repairs and new guttering provided. Provided an alternative solution for the scaffolding access saving our customers money and making extra works that needed done financialy possible.
traditional victorian house in Edinburgh that was re harled using a mixture of granite chip and granite dust to give off a traditional finish to suit the builing.A mandatory 10 year guarentee was also provided.Jon for Mr. & Mrs. Rennie
This chimney was water damaged all the way down to the bottom and had to be removed completley. Once the work was completed my customer said weatherproof were £1000 cheaper than the other quote he had! We supply our own scaffolding...
We saved Mr. Austin ££££ by quoting him for only 1 tower of scaffold and then bridged across at the top. Rather than allowing for two towers that would have put the quote through the roof! (no pun intended)
If you look closely at the top left hand side , you can see the gutter is not connected to the down pipe. Who ever put these gutters up did a sloppy job and as a result the water has pooled in the gutters over the years.
We replaced the damaged fascia(due to the poor workmanship previously)and supplied and fitted new PVC guttering. The roof now runs correctly.
This was Mr. Austin's outer wall to his Edinburgh Town house. While we were undertaking work to his lead gutter, we advised Mr. Austin to have work done to his building as a matter of urgency.
This was Mr. Austins stonework after we undertook some stone and mortar work to restore it and make the wall waterproof once again.
