Do i need a plumber or electrician to fit a pump to my shower

William, we do these all the time and we complete the plumbing part of fitting a pump which is not an Electricians job and then I get my qualified Electrician in to connect the Electrics. Be careful with Part P certified plumbers because due to regulation changes all new Electrical work must be on a RCD, and really need a professional Electrician to ascertain fuse board appropriate, RCD breakers need to be fitted, etc. has this. Hi William, Both types of tradesmen should be able to carry out the work for you but I would advise opting for an electrician as the Part P electrical qualification is a requirement for a reputable electrical company. If you opt for a plumber, you'll want to ensure that they have an electrical qualification to work safely in your home. Regards, Adam [email protected]
