Leaking shower

Hi, Our shower keeps leaking into the flat below. We have tried to reseal it a few times and have even got a friend of ours who specialises in DIY jobs, so I assume the leak is not where we think it is. I think we need a someone to find the source of the leak and to fix it, but I am not sure what sort of tradesman to contact.
