Help - unsightly Crack removable cornerbath panel

The cornerbath panel has a horrible crack ( installed by newbuild company when i bought this off plan ) of which the fitting has slowly distorted due to settlement ( and likely not being fitted properly - the original fitting was shoddy). I am in a dilemma as the bath is great and works well, i just want to find a replacement bath panel however the bath has no brand make and i don't want to pull out the rest of the bath panel to view underneath risking cracking the panel further ( or risking not being able to place it back on). The crack is a good 6 inches long and very noticeable. A high street bathroom specialist cannot help. A Plywood mosaic self made panel is something that i have been suggested but would this really work with the existing bath tub - any help would be much appreciated.
