Plastering over the tiles

A rated people builder suggested to plaster over existing large ceramic tiles (floor to ceiling, well bonded). Should I be concerned?

Knock them off & dot & dab wall to give a good level surface , plastering over tiles is not a good idea at all , you don't know the history of how well the tiles are stuck & it's just very bad practice & a very bad suggestion . There are no shortcuts in renovation , do it right & have no problems cut corners and your guess is as good as mine
