Is it possible to "undo" a wet room?

Posted by Peter Nixey, on
I have a wet room which is well fitted and properly waterproofed. However I can't stand it as it means the entire bathroom gets wet and needs to be sponged all the time. I can fit a curtain around the shower however the drain means that there will still be water splashing around the room. Is there a way to fit a shower tray under the shower and funnel the water across to the drain? (the drain is not unfortunately directly underneath the shower). Thank you

Difficult to visualise without seeing the job, but it may be possible to fit a 1.8 metre tall glass screen, available in various widths or even one with a pivot door as well to create a cubicle. Suggest you get a bathroom specialist round to discuss possible solutions.

Hi Peter Everyone has knowledge to respond to a question but every trade person can do a job in different way. We always recomend to post a job on main website because some of a job needs to be seen bedore any advice is given. Our service is free of charge with no obligation quote and our tradesmans are happy to help with every aspects of jobs. I would strongly recomend to post a job on Rated People home page then 3 companies will get in touch then you would be able to choose the right person as you would receive an e mail with a link to tradesman account where you would see a pictures and you will read revious from previous customers. I hope this will help Best regards Rafal
