Is it okay to build a bathroom inside of a covered patio measuring 23 ft. x 20 ft.? Or does it have to be outside of the covered patio by itself. I have been told by several people that the bathroom should not be inside of the patio because of the possible smell. If I build it outside of the patio I have to place an additional foundation and build the walls and of course a roof with shingles to match the patio and house.
