I would also suggest doing the same with a sponge to remove the water in the pan. Then pour vinegar in to the pan, enough to cover all the stained areas you want to remove. If this can be left over night then cleaned with the toilet brush it should come up like new.

Hi Angela if you can sponge out the water in the toilet bowl ( wear gloves) pour in a bottle of full fat coke cola leave over night then just flush away this usually gets good results
