Angle on soil pipe

Posted by Katie , on
Can anyone tell me what angle a wc soil pipe has to run at before it meets the vertical drop? We are having some issues with the waste pipe in a extension and trying to see if it's feasible to move the horizontal waste pipe into the ensuite rather than being on the wall outside and then needing to be covered in the extension roof but not sure on the implications on the angle and therefore height of the toilet/waste pipe out the back?

Hi Katie So the answer to you question, the waste outlet of your toilet is usually 7 inches. So being the highest point the fall should then be between 18-90mm. However if it is a straight run from toilet to the main soil stack, 4mm per metre of pipe is perfectly fine. ( 12mm per length of soil pipe ) hope this helps.
