We have a tank and hot water cylinder in the loft. We also have a shower room in the loft. When this was installed the engineers also installed a pump to give extra pressure. We haven’t had any pressure problems. Now we are renovating our bathroom on the first floor, installing an over head shower a hand led shower and of course a toilet and a basin. The current system normal bath mixer taps with a hand held shower has not ever given us a problem. But now the installer is insisting we have another pump on the first floor to serve this bathroom. Do we really need another pump?
