We have recently taken up the lino flooring in our bathroom and found a concrete mound that looks as though an old pipe was covered with cement. Before laying tiles or vinyl floor we want to level the floor. Is it best to level over the mound - in which case we would have to remove the full bathroom suite. Or, should we try and chisel our the concrete mound and level the floor once it has been slightly taken out?
