Suggestions how to improve the external look of a property?

My ex local authority semi detached property (1930 build) could do with a face lift as it looking a little old.
Suggestion I've had are renewing the mortar or possibly sand blasting the brick to clean it up.
Not sure if these are the best options? Suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks.

A great way of improving the look of your property would indeed be to have it repointed ( renewing the mortar). This will change the appearance dramatically. There are many different colours and pointing styles to choose from. If you wanted to go even further a chemical wash will clean the bricks beautifully and return them to their former glory. Be sure to use a reputable company for any works to avoid disappointment. Nathan
