Darkening mortar to match existing.

Posted by Patricia Tabberer, on
I have had to remove damaged bricks in the wall of my house and replace with new. The cement/mortar between these new bricks is lighter than the existing. This was done about four years ago and the colour has not darkened. Is there anything I can apply to the mortar/cement to darken it somewhat. (I don't want to paint it).

Good evening Patricia, you can buy a product called "liquid Weather" which will help to blend the new mortar. Jewsons sell it or you can find it on line.
