Dry verge

Recently fitted dry verge by a supposedly rated tradesperson, the dry verge has come off 4 times in strong wind, I find they have been nailed on, is this accepted practice

Hi Brian. If the dry verge has blown off four times then I would say that it probably hasn't been nailed on correctly. I would prefer to attach an extra batten and screw this in securely. If you post the job on the site, you never know I may be able to buy the lead. Lewis Manor roofing repairs
