Hi Jane My recommendation would be to find a qualified plumber or tiler to complete this task. The key to a solid lasting repair is to make sure all of the old material is removed prior to refinishing the shower cubicle area. Be sure to check the reason why the grout has cracked, this can sometimes be due to the tiled surfaces becoming loose or moving over time. Also check for movement in the shower tray base, this could cause premature failure of your new seal. Spend good money on the product that you choose to replace the seal and tile grout. The grout will need to be suitable for use in a shower area. Allow the recommended curing times for the product before using the shower area again. Hope this has been helpful Kind Regards Lee Richards MCIPHE RP Water Trade Ltd

Hi Jane Anyone can do this providing they are neat enough with the silicone and careful enough not to chip the tiles when trying to remove the grout. A good tiler should know what products to use when taking on this job.

Hi, A tiler, Handyman, or even a good decorator should be able to help you, as this is a very common request when decorating bathrooms. Tony.

Hi Jane I would suggest to find a tiler or a good plumber do not ask handyman to do as you will have a leaks again. I hope this can help Best regards Rafal

This is a job that nobody wants to do ! It's a restricted area of work space and requires meticulous attention to detail or it will leak . A tiler may be the best bet but remember to put two bags of sand (in bag) in the tray before applying the silicone sealer . This job can take up a long time to complete , so , pay per hour , that will discourage the contractor from hurrying .
