Hi Oscar, depends how loud it is . not an easy fix. you will need to cover the area with pre bonded acoustic backed boards. will raise the level of floor aprox 20.mm. Mark.
Hi , you need to lift floor boards and fill with glass wool then replace floorboards cover with 25mm plasterboard the a floating chiboard floor on top a lot of work i know but it works i have fitted this in flats and know it works regards Alistair A & M Bathrooms
Hi Oscar. I would suggest you get an expert in to test the noise levels. No point in spending money if the people below are breaching the laws. Jeff
Hi Oscar - you need to absorb the noise so a very heavy underlay and thick carpet or if you can get under your floor boards put a layer of insulation (same as the loft stuff) in between and this will kill noise too.
