Hi Judy If the bathroom fitter used flexible hoses. For fitting the taps the bore of these are generally smaller than what was in place at first, which could restrict the flow, but as Alex and William have said get your bathroom fitter back to check it out, don't mention you have been on here, wait and see what he has to say first Iain

it could be that you have mains cold water (higher pressure)being fed to the kitchen tap and hot water is from a tank (lower pressure)so there is a pressure differential, like bill says ask the fitter back to see what he suggests

Judy, It is difficult to say what would be causing this unless we know what kind of water system you have. If you have cold mains supply to taps and gravity fed Hot supply and you are using high pressure taps then this could explain poor Hot flow. There are then options on how to solve this problem. But I would suggest that you get the Bathroom Fitter back to check why poor Hot and to advise you what can be done to rectify problem. Bill Pipe Dreams Plumbing Services, Bournemouth, Dorset
