You will need a plumber to sort it out, he will be able to quicly identify which fitting is required as lead comes in various sizes (weights)

Discovered leak in main line , exposed pipe looks as maybe lead , small pin hole leak , how to repair or job for plumber thxs for any help.

Hi there Please don't attempt to repair your self, some plumbers can do a repair to the pipe with solder others will cut out the leak and replace with a fitting, but its a job for a tradesman Hope all goes well Iain

Tut Tut Ian! we are no longer allowed to do lead repairs under the water bylaws so it will have to be cut a section and replace
