Try cleaning the shower head or running with the shower head removed to see if the same happens, if it works without the shower head attached replace it - some models have a safety device to stop scolding.

Hi Toni, problems with electric showers are very rarely to do with water supply, or electrical supply. Most of these issues are do do with a failure in the shower unit. Most plumbers will not repair electric showers as they are so cheap to replace and parts are very difficult to get hold of. So 9/10 times you would end up replacing the unit. Hope this helps
