If the shower tray is fibre glass then I should have a wooden board underneath with metal adjustable legs it maybe possible to access the legs and adjust them so that they tighten on to the tray better

Hi there Derek. If you don't want to go to the hassle of removing the tray; then refitting. I would suggest placing wood underneath the tray to stop the flexing and to give the whole installation a more solid support. If your shower tray has no space underneath, for example it is of a low profile design, unfortunately you have no alternative but to remove it and make safe, then refit. JIRELAND PLUMBER
