As good as a tradesman can get: gave me a price, turned up on time and cracked on with the job. New shower installed and working perfectly. He charged as quoted, and gave an email invoice with guarantee in case anything goes wrong within 6 months. Great to deal with - many thanks!

Jonathan arrived bang on time the next morning and detected and repaired a faulty bath waste pipe in just over an hour. I have asked him to return to install a new shower next week. No hesitation in recommending.

Eddie Cady's question

Hello, please can you let me know if the cost guides on this site include materials AND labour? Please let me know; I’ve not heard back from the last time I asked, earlier this week. Thank you so much.

Eddie... the costing on this website is not accurate. You should also remember that trades people that you employ are businesses, it is highly unlikely that you will find a business that will be willing to work with you if you are looking for a highly cut price! You need to be realistic about the work you are seeking and whom you are employing! For large scale jobs, get four or five quotes. You will notice a considerable difference I hope this helps! Dimitris Athanasiadis's question
Mon 18 Mar 2019 19:5pm

Hi . I have a megaflo water tank and i want to ask the following.i noticed that after 2 or 3 showers i have cold water. Whats the point to have the water tank i dont understand. I thought that having gas i would always have hot water and now i rely on a tank? how is it possible to switch it off when i have cold water? is there any valve in order to switch it off sometimes?

Dimitrios... sounds like, your HWC is not big enough for your hot water demand from your property. The hot water in a cylinder will take a little time to heat up. A combination boiler outputs hot water near enough instantaneously. I recommend calling your local plumber for a diagnostics and then take it from there! I hope this helps! J Ireland Plumber
