Hi there. Iv been in buisness for a while now, I don't have a website, I don't need one. It's not a written law stating that if you run a buisness you should have a website. It's suits some and doesn't suit others. I can totally appreciate as a customer you are maybe sceptical about this person, ask for references or photo graphs of previous work, qualifications certs or membership docs. I hope this levitates any worry. Just be wary whether there is a website or not is irrelevant. JIRELAND PLUMBER

Hi Jenny, If you posted your job through our site and the tradesperson contacted you about this, we will have emailed you to let you know. The email we send has a link to that tradesperson's profile with us which acts like a mini website. So while they may not have their own website, they will have a mini website with us. If you can't find this, I'd recommend contacting our customer team through ratedpeople(dot)com/contact-us. I'd also recommend carrying out the checks we identify in our homeowner checklist at ratedpeople(dot)com/c/homeowner-checklist. I hope this helps. Thanks, Natalie Ask an expert team
