I am doing level 2 pluming diploma, and i wanted to ask if i can work as a plumbers mate daytime. is the course i am doing fit to start as a plumbers mate or do i have to wait until the course finishes.?

You should be getting as much work experience as possible, college courses are just the foundations, hands on work experience is imperative if you are aiming to become a good experienced plumber. I would suggest becoming either an apprentice to trainee. There are no other proper ways in my experienced opinion ! J IRELAND PLUMBER
