Dawn... Some businesses charge and others don’t. I myself as a business do not charge a call out fee. I feel it is inappropriate and unfair. A call out fee is a fee charged on top of the final bill just for turning up. I would note though; some businesses do charge a non access fee of which is charged if your booking is not cancelled within a chosen time scale, usually twenty four hours prior to the booking by yourself the customer.
