Looking for a canopy/carport for the driveway, who is the best expert to contact.

Hi Debbie, You do get companies that specialise in such areas, I would suggest this as first contact and then a general builder, of course if it is a carport and does need a roof I would then choose a roofer. Kind regards Paul Davis Total roofing care.
