Hi Al, As chris says generally moss is not a problem, but if the tiles are interlocking the moss can grow and build up on the interlocking channels causing problems such as capillary reaction and water discharge over the top of the interlocking channels. Kind regards Paul Davis Total roofing care.

Moss is an aesthetic problem only, it will die in summer and blow away, it may block the gutters as a result , otherwise no problem
