Damp on my stairwell ceiling, which tradesman do i need?

There is damp on my stairwell ceiling, the roof is directly above the ceiling. Which tradesman do i need?
The stairwell is on the gable end of the granite building. I'm not sure if the roof is the source of the damp or condensation from the cold granite wall.
