Can rain will cause bad effect where gutter has been removed

The tradesman started the job yesterday morning, removed the gutter in front and some parts of rotten soffts and said be back by 12:30 lunch time the same day but apparently they have problem with the supplyer so untill now he have not come back yet. Will it cause bad effect with my property in that condition with this rain
