Insurance told me i cant claim unless my roof leak was caused by weather and not wear and tear,how do i no what caused the problem please

If you haven't had any winds over 70 mile an hour to cause any damage the insurance will not pay out anyway and if the roof. Is over 10 years old its none as wear and tear

Hi Mandy, Unless your flat roof has had a tree fall on it or it has been blown away, it is near on impossible to claim on your insurance. I have heard of insurers who will not pay out unless the flat roof has been maintained regularly. How do you maintain a flat roof? Good luck. Kind regards Paul Davis Total roofing care.
