If it's in the corners of your bedroom I don't think it is a leak with your roof. Sounds more like condensation to me. Could be that your insulation in your loft has not been installed correctly ie it's not over the place where the problem is therefore making that part of the ceiling cold causing condensation. You could rectify this yourself or better still get your partner to do it.

I would agree with Benjamin on the course of action. you can only be sure of this by lifting a few lower tiles and inspecting the felt, if it looks perished then the lower courses of tiles need to be removed and a DPC installed, we would then also recommend an EPS tray to ensure the water gets into the guttering, this job is likely to take around 3 hours based on an average sized property

Hi there could be a couple off problems .1 could be a hole in the felt lower down running into the cavity throu to the wall .2 but I would say bottom row off felt is gone next too the guttering and facia .this is fairly a common fault as birds tend to get in at the lowest point off roof .fairl easy to do remove 3row off roof tiles and insert felt where needed hope this helps .ben

Hi June There is a few reasons this could happen, lack of ventilation, a problem in the eaves of your roof, guttering may have failed and the fascia boards could be absorbing the rain fall. Hope this may have helped. Regards Chris
