Hi Kiran it's always best to try and sort these situations amicable, firstly has the work been completed to a good standard? If you have no issues with the work carried out and it's just purely a matter of obtaining a receipt, send a letter recorded delivery to the roofers trading address asking for a receipt, not all tradesmen are on top of their paperwork and hopefully this will spur him on to get it done.Most roofers will use an outside scaffolding company and unfortunately they don't always come when you want them, mention the scaffold in the letter if it still hasn't been removed.
