Posted by gavin Green, on
Hi there, I have had some work done by a roofer and not sure it's the best quality, he's provided shoddy work, how do I go about getting his work checked?

Hi Gavin I would suggest to post job description on main website . Once you've posted a job with us and had a local tradesman quote, you should have been sent an emailed link to his profile. From here, you can read previous customer recommendations and ratings. I hope this will help Best regards Rafal

Hi Gavin Your best bet is to ask a competent, reputable roofer to come and assess the work carried out. You may need to pay for this. The best advice I could give is to find a tradesman who gives free estimate/quotes and explain the situation. This may keep the cost to a minimum, or if your lucky be free as there may be work for the new roofer. Sorry to hear of your bad experience and good luck with the resolution. Hope this helps. Yours, Matt A A Roofing, Widnes

Hi Gavin, Most good roofers will look at this free of charge for you if you explain the situation. They will then supply you with a (hopefully) reasonable quote to rectify the problem. Jesse Max Roofing.

Then its up to you whether you decide to take the next step . I hope this helps regards Jason

Find a good local roofer who has a good reputation locally, he may have a standard charge, however if you explain the situation to him he may do an inspection free if you allow him to quote to rectify the problem. Good luck and hope you get a quick resolution to the problem
