Should a leaking and bubbled flat roof be overlaid or should it be stripped then done.

DARREN PRITCHARD

Hi Janette, A flat roof that is leaking and showing signs of bubbling should not be overlaid, the roof covering needs to be stripped back to expose the roof timbers and any defective timbers should be replaced before re-felting. Graham Graham Pow Specialist Roofing
